Ladies Luncheon 2025
The second annual Snowdome Ladies Luncheon was held on 27 February 2025. The luncheon provided a special opportunity for the treasured women of our Snowdome family to come together and celebrate the achievements of female researchers and clinicians.
Guest speaker, Associate Professor Melita Kenealy, a proud clinician and clinical researcher, was joined by Kylie Carter, a lymphoma patient, who shared her very personal journey with blood cancer.
Both A/Prof. Kenealy and Kylie reiterated the vital importance of research and clinical trials in improving outcomes for blood cancer patients. Had it not been for the clinical trials Kylie was able to access, her outcome may have been markedly different.

MY Mount Eliza Fun & Run Festival 2025
On Sunday 16 March 2025, the annual MY Mount Eliza Run & Fun Festival was held, raising $55,000 in support of blood cancer research projects, specifically multiple myeloma.
Event founder, Geoff Nyssen, having been diagnosed with myeloma in 2014 at the age of 40, is an active and successful advocate for the importance of blood cancer research and clinical trials.

Snowball 2023
On 22 November 2023, we hosted Snowball. More than 250 guests came together to celebrate our 10th anniversary, the impact we have made, the lives we have changed and to help shape the future of blood cancer research, forever.
Together, we raised an incredible $650,000! These funds will be channelled into the development of immune therapies that will bring new, life-changing treatments to Australian blood cancer patients.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to our donors, supports and partners who made the evening an incredible success. Your generous donations and contributions of expertise and resource will continue to make a significant impact in helping share the future of blood cancer treatments.
