MY Fun Run 2026
Celebrating its 10th anniversary with a refreshed name and vibrant new brand, MY Fun Run Mount Eliza returned on Sunday 15 March, with perfect weather to match the occasion.
Since the event’s inception, MY Fun Run has raised over $500,000 to fund two multiple myeloma research projects. Funds from this year’s event were directed to Prof. Jane Oliaro’s research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, which is seeking to improve the durability of CAR T-cell therapy for myeloma patients using specially produced “armoured” CAR T-cells.
We are pleased to share that the 2026 event raised $44,000. We extend our thanks and congratulations to Geoff Nyssen, and everyone involved in MY Fun Run Mount Eliza, including the sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers.
Ladies Luncheon 2026
The 2026 Snowdome Ladies Luncheon was held on 26 February at the beautiful Glasshaus Brücke, bringing together members of the Snowdome community for an afternoon of connection and conversation.
Inaugural Snowdome Board Director and MC, Helen Buckingham OAM, spoke candidly about her own blood cancer journey and the many reasons why she is deeply committed to Snowdome’s mission. She expertly led the conversation with our guest speakers, A/Prof Mary-Ann Anderson and Francesca Pavone, who shared their deep expertise and personal insight, and gave our audience an understanding of both the science behind blood cancers and the very real human impact.
The afternoon would not have been possible without the passion of our Event Chair, Janette Lewis. Our heartfelt thanks to Janette and Harvey for their meaningful and ongoing support.
Snowball 2025
More than 200 guests joined us on Thursday 16 October for a spectacular evening under the dome at Snowball 2025.
We are proud to share that $550,000 was raised to help fund two new Fellowships, honouring two extraordinary people whose stories helped inspire the Snowdome Foundation – the Chloe Rutherford Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology and the John Tandy Haematology Fellowship.
We are truly grateful for the generosity and support of our donors, guests, event partners and sponsors who all contributed to making the night a success, and in doing so, helping us shape the future of blood cancer treatments forever.
MY Mount Eliza Fun & Run Festival 2025
On Sunday 16 March 2025, the annual MY Mount Eliza Run & Fun Festival was held, raising $55,000 in support of blood cancer research projects, specifically multiple myeloma.
Event founder, Geoff Nyssen, having been diagnosed with myeloma in 2014 at the age of 40, is an active and successful advocate for the importance of blood cancer research and clinical trials.

Ladies Luncheon 2025
The second annual Snowdome Ladies Luncheon was held on 27 February 2025. The luncheon provided a special opportunity for the treasured women of our Snowdome family to come together and celebrate the achievements of female researchers and clinicians.
Guest speaker, Associate Professor Melita Kenealy, a proud clinician and clinical researcher, was joined by Kylie Carter, a lymphoma patient, who shared her very personal journey with blood cancer.
Both A/Prof. Kenealy and Kylie reiterated the vital importance of research and clinical trials in improving outcomes for blood cancer patients. Had it not been for the clinical trials Kylie was able to access, her outcome may have been markedly different.
Snowdome Foundation extends our special thanks to all those who supported and attended the Ladies Luncheon.
Snowball 2024
On Thursday 10 October 2024, we held Snowball. In 2024, we invited guests to the “Snowball Cucina” to enjoy a delicious family dinner created by celebrated Chef Guy Grossi and the team from Cookes Food & Events.
The event raised an incredible $670,000! Our best result to date.
Snowball raises funds to positively impact the lives of blood cancer patients in Australia, helping them to live longer, better lives. The funds raised in 2024 will be directed to provide access to two, unsubsidised, life-saving drugs; for T cell and B cell lymphoma.
