Welcome two new Board members

In recent months, we have welcomed two new members to our Board.

Helen Gandel’s strong philanthropic ethic led her to Snowdome where, from 2013 to 2015, she was an integral part of Snowdome’s Fundraising Committee as well as a Snowdome Ambassador. During this time she passionately helped to deliver each of the ‘Great Shake-Up’ events that collectively raised almost $2.5million. Earlier in 2016, Helen joined the Snowdome Donor committee and in May 2016 became a member of the Snowdome Foundation Board of Directors.

Nichola Patterson has worked alongside Snowdome co-founder Grant Rutherford in the advertising world and has watched the evolution of Snowdome from the beginning. She decided to get more closely involved after learning about the gap in research funding and the real-world difference the Snowdome has made to people with blood cancers. She is hoping by joining the Board, her skills in PR and journalism can help more people learn about Snowdome and therefore get involved.
