Brookfield Multiplex generously shakes it up!

Joining the ‘Great Shake-Up’ again in 2015, Brookfield Multiplex generously signed on as a Platinum sponsor and proceeded to invite building industry colleagues and friends to one of their Melbourne boardrooms to watch and participate in our October 8 event.

Graham Milford-Cottam, Regional Managing Director at Brookfield, was interviewed during the event and said they had a special motivation to be involved as a personal friend and colleague was currently undergoing chemotherapy.

As mentioned in an earlier article, the lovely people in Multiplex’s boardroom actively actively placed bids on the various items in our Auction and were the winners of 10 out of the 14 items up for offer! Even the highly sought after Elton John tickets!! In addition to an amazing $3,000 in donations, Brookfield contributed an additional $36,800 from auction purchases. A very generous contribution to our cause enabling the almost immediate funding of a $50,000 grant to fund a research Fellow to assist Associate Professor Mark Dawson continue his blood cancer research at Peter Mac.
