heston & the fat duck support snowdome

World renowned Chef, Heston Blumenthal, has announced his support of Snowdome by donating a Chef’s Table to auction to raise funds to fight blood cancers.

At the launch announcement at Crown Melbourne in September, Heston nominated three Australian charities that he would support whilst here to oversee the highly anticipated relocation of his famous Fat Duck restaurant in 2015. We were positively thrilled that he chose Snowdome!

The restaurant has caused some major headlines in recent months. To secure a reservation, the restaurant ran a ballot system and according to news reports, 89,179 entries were received! Only 14,000 people were successful and will dine at the restaurant after it opens on February 3 (it’s only open in Melbourne for six months).

If you were amongst the 75,000 people who missed out, we are excited to be able to announce that the auction of Heston’s donation (a table for four by the Chef’s pass) will be going live in 2015.
