Behind every vital advancement in blood cancer treatment are stories of courage and optimism
In our special Blood, Sweat and Tears of Joy event held in May we heard stories of the impact blood cancer had on four special members of the Snowdome family – Karen Frenkiel, Brenda Cherednichenko, Geoff Nyseen and Alastair Evans. From the heartbreak of being diagnosed just days after becoming a mother, to a personal commitment to advancing clinical trials so others can benefit or to dance at their 80th birthday, to a dedication to a mother lost to myeloma, the event touched hearts and raised hope for a better future for those affected by blood cancer.
