Our new Chair

Welcome to the new Chairman of Snowdome’s Board, Roger Greenman AM.

Roger’s comprehensive background in health care and education meant he was almost destined to connect with and join Snowdome’s Board.

Roger originally started his working career in hospital design and construction, transitioning to Hospital administration in 1972.  He was CEO of Cabrini Health for 25 years, retiring in December 2008.  During his tenure at Cabrini, he established the first Day Oncology and Aphaeresis units in a private hospital, and Cabrini is now the major private provider of these services in the State.

Roger is a Board Director of The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and chairs their re-development and quality committees.

He has a strong commitment to charitable works and has made many trips to Swaziland working in a mission delivering health care services, orphan care and education.  He was made a Member of The Order of Australia in 2010 for his services to medical administration, charitable organisations and outreach services.

“Diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in 2012 and with a strong background in health care services, I am keen to see the delivery of cutting edge blood cancer treatments made available to Australians as quickly as possible.”

Roger was appointed Chair of the Snowdome Foundation’s Board in March 2015.
